Ceramic Coating Terms and Conditions Policy,
One Touch Auto Detailing Ceramic Coating Terms and Conditions
1. Ceramic Coating Service Overview
One Touch Auto Detailing offers premium ceramic coatings for vehicle paint, wheels, and glass. Our coatings are designed to provide superior protection, hydrophobic properties, and enhanced durability. We offer three different options for ceramic coatings, with a choice of a 3 year, 5 year, or 7 year protection package, based on the coating selected for your vehicle.
Paint Coating: Our ceramic coatings for paint protect the vehicle’s exterior from contaminants, environmental damage, and oxidation.
Wheels Coating: This coating helps protect wheels from brake dust, water spots, and road grime, making cleaning easier.
Glass Coating: Protects windshield and windows from water, dirt, and other environmental contaminants, improving visibility in adverse weather.
2. Eligibility and Pre-Coating Requirements
Vehicle Condition: Ceramic coating is only applied to vehicles in good condition. Any pre-existing paint defects (e.g., previously coated, scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, or chips) must be repaired before the application of the ceramic coating. Additional charges may apply for any required paint correction services.
Preparation and Cleaning: Prior to application, the vehicle must be thoroughly cleaned, and all contaminants (e.g., tar, sap, iron particles) must be removed. One Touch Auto Detailing will prepare the vehicle as necessary, but any additional preparation or corrections will be subject to extra charges.
Surface Damage: One Touch Auto Detailing is not liable for any underlying paint issues or damage that may be revealed once the ceramic coating is applied, such as pre-existing scratches, chips, or imperfections that were previously undetectable.
3. Application and Durability of Paint Ceramic Coatings
Coating Durability: The durability of ceramic coatings is dependent on the type of coating selected, the condition of the vehicle, and the maintenance provided by the client. 3 Year Coating, 5 Year Coating, 7 Year Coating
While One Touch Auto Detailing guarantees that the coating will provide the stated protection for the specified term, the longevity of the coating can be impacted by external factors such as improper maintenance, weather conditions, or failure to follow the proper care instructions.
Proper Maintenance Required: The client is responsible for maintaining the vehicle according to the instructions provided by One Touch Auto Detailing, which may include regular washing, the use of proper cleaning products, and avoidance of harsh chemicals, car washes including self service and automatic or abrasives that could compromise the coating.
4. Client's Responsibilities and Maintenance Guidelines
To ensure that the ceramic coating performs as expected, the client agrees to the following:
Wash & Care: Regular maintenance is required to preserve the coating’s protective qualities. We recommend that the vehicle be washed every 2-4 weeks using pH-balanced, non-abrasive car shampoos. Avoid the use of automatic and self service car washes and strong chemicals or abrasive materials.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: The use of harsh chemicals, such as acid-based cleaners, petroleum distillates, or degreasers, can degrade the coating and void the warranty.
Environmental Conditions: Exposure to certain environmental conditions, such as bird droppings, tree sap, road salt, and industrial fallout, can damage the coating if not addressed promptly. Failure to clean the vehicle regularly can lead to deterioration of the coating and may require reapplication.
Post Coating Curing Time: After the ceramic coating is applied, the vehicle must be kept dry and out of direct contact with water for a minimum of twenty four or forty eight hours to allow the coating to fully cure.
5. Warranty & Reapplication Terms
Warranty Coverage: The ceramic coating comes with a limited warranty that guarantees its effectiveness for the duration of the chosen term (3, 5, or 7 years), provided the vehicle is properly maintained as per the instructions. Warranty claims are only valid if the coating is properly maintained by the client.
Liability for Reapplication: One Touch Auto Detailing is not responsible for the reapplication of the ceramic coating due to failure to maintain the coating, external factors such as weather, or improper cleaning techniques. The client is fully responsible for maintaining the coating to ensure its longevity.
Exceptions to Warranty:
Accidental Damage: Damage caused by impact, abrasions, improper washing, or misuse is not covered.
Environmental Damage: Damage from environmental factors such as bird droppings, tree sap, salt, or other contaminants is not covered under the warranty if not cleaned promptly.
Improper Maintenance: Failure to follow proper washing, drying, and maintenance instructions will void the warranty.
Reapplication Charges: If reapplication of the ceramic coating is required due to the client's failure to follow the care guidelines or improper maintenance, additional charges for labor and materials may apply. Reapplication is not covered under the original warranty.
Claims Process: If you believe the coating has failed prematurely, please contact One Touch Auto Detailing within 30 days of noticing any issues. A visual inspection will be conducted, and if applicable, any necessary reapplication or corrective measures will be discussed.
6. Liability Limitations
Liability Limitation: One Touch Auto Detailing’s liability under this agreement is limited to the cost of the ceramic coating service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the application of the coating, including but not limited to paint defects, vehicle value, or loss of use.
No Guarantee of Perfection: While ceramic coatings significantly enhance the vehicle’s protection, they are not a “permanent” solution and may require reapplication or additional care over time to maintain their effectiveness. There is no guarantee that the coating will protect the vehicle from all types of damage or that it will maintain a perfect appearance throughout the warranty period.
7. Ceramic Coating Coverage
Paint Coating: The paint coating covers the vehicle’s exterior paintwork, protecting it from contaminants, water spots, oxidation, and light scratches. However, the coating does not make the paint impervious to all damage and does not prevent rock chips, deep scratches, or severe environmental exposure.
Wheels Coating: The coating applied to wheels helps protect them from brake dust, water spots, and road grime. While it makes cleaning easier, it does not prevent damage from curbing, harsh chemicals, or extreme conditions.
Glass Coating: The glass coating helps repel water and improve visibility during rainy conditions. It does not prevent stone chips, cracks, or damage caused by external impacts.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for Ceramic Coating Services
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your ceramic coating service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation fee may apply if the service is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
Rescheduling Fees: Repeated rescheduling of ceramic coating appointments may incur a fee to cover the costs of labor and product preparation.
9. Privacy and Documentation

These images may also be used for promotional purposes, but any identifying information (such as license plate numbers) will be removed or obscured where possible.

Paint Protection Film Terms of Service
Risk of Paint Lifting: Application of Paint Protection Film may cause stress to the paintwork, and while we take all precautions, there is a risk of paint lifting, particularly if the vehicle has been repainted.
Stone Chips Visibility: Existing stone chips may become more noticeable after the film is applied due to uneven surfaces beneath the film.
Mobile Service Access and Requirements
Power and Water Supply: For mobile detailing services, the client is responsible for providing access to a suitable power supply (240V) and water. If these requirements are not met, the job may be canceled, and a "Last-Minute Cancellation Fee" will apply.
Service Location: The client must ensure that the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location and time. If access is obstructed or the location is unsuitable (e.g., poor lighting or weather), One Touch Auto Detailing reserves the right to cancel the service and a cancellation fee may apply.

Damage to Property: One Touch Auto Detailing is not liable for any damage to property, including driveways or fences, caused during mobile detailing. The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is clear of obstacles and in good condition.
